More May 2010 Happenings in Greenpoint

First, we want to say congratulations to Gina and her family of Zayas Appliance with the birth of baby Antonio. Happy Mother's Day Gina!  The GBA wishes you all the very best and cannot wait to see pictures, or catch Antonio strolling in Greenpoint.

Speaking of another mother - the one we refer to as the Mother Earth....well she has had a bit of a rough time down south so GBA member and acting co-chair of our budget committee The Parlour Brooklyn is "Collecting Hair for The Gulf".  Between now and May 18th The Parlour Brooklyn is collecting hair to send to help with the relief of the oil spill....Nackie can explain.  The Parlour Brooklyn will take $10.00 off your haircut to help get more folks in the door....go see those girls and help the greatest mother of all, our planet!
